Sr. High

We believe that Sr. High is the time for students to put their faith into action. It's not enough just to say that you believe-The questions is: "How are you impacting those around you for Christ?" We have a four-phase process (Accept, Connect, Serve, and Lead) to guide Sr. High Students as they strive to show Christ's love. It's within this process that students learn the eternal value of accepting the grace and truth of Jesus, connecting with others, serving in ministry, and becoming leaders.

Sr. High students remain in the service on Sunday mornings for a time of praise and worship, teaching, and communion. Bobby Harrington (Lead Pastor) teaches most Sundays and is know for his intriguing, inspiring, and challenging messages.

Small groups are the backbone of the Sr. High Ministry. This is where Bible study, discussion, accountability, and prayer take place. Our small groups are gender-based and student led. Because we believe in the importance of our leaders being mentored, each leader is supervised by an adult "coach". Sunday night is when all groups meet and the evening also includes dinner, worship from the youth band, and a time of teaching for the entire group. Students are challenged to take what they're learning and put it into action. It is within these groups that students begin to excercise their understanding of the core teachings of scripture, as well as encouraging each other to share the message of hope that is in Jesus Christ. If you're looking for a place to become more committed and connected, Sunday nights are when it happens!

Do something! That's what our Sr. High students want--to be involved and to serve! We are continually active in local and regional service and missions projects. We're always amazed at the way God blesses both the recipients and our youth group when we put aside our our needs and look toward the needs of others. It's awesome!

Leadership--it comes in many forms. One thing is for sure--we want our students to understand that all who follow Christ are called to lead. From leading a small group of their peers on a Sunday night to sharing Christ within their relationships at school and at home, the importance of Christ-like leadership is consistently emphasized and encouraged.
