Opening:  Discuss the parallels between being bold and being loving.

 

 

Bible Study:  Read Acts 18.

 

 

  1. In our text, we see Paul speaking boldly in the synagogue. What do you think the equivalent of the synagogue would be today? Would you be willing to speak boldly there?

     

  2. Paul boldness was in devoting himself exclusively to preaching. Has God placed a call on your life that requires special devotion?

     

  3. How well received is our boldness today? In what ways specifically did Jesus being bold?

     

  4. What step of boldness do you need to take next?  How can others encourage you in this?

     

  5. What is your reaction to the recent stance inhibiting churches in the school system?
