Being a man is easy and simple...huh?  work hard, eat cooked meat, go to church on Sundays, watch the game or shoot an animal, right?  NOT QUITE! Being a REAL AUTHENTIC man is not easy or simple...especially in 2010!

Many men today are searching for what it means to really be a "man" and what the world tells us in wrong.  Harpeth Men's Ministry strives to equip men to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus (which is a tall order and a challenge)  but one men must face and do their very best to live up to. 

This 'aint your daddy's men's ministry!! We love a good pancake breakfast too...but we also want to become better men and create disciples! And...if you are 18 or older, you qualify!  Harpeth Men's Ministry equips men to simply strive for 4 things (modeled by Jesus):

• Reject Passivity
• Accept Responsibility
• Lead Courageously
• Expect God's Greater Reward

BRAVEHEARTS MONTHLY EVENTS
 

To make it simple, we meet once a month as a large group - we call it "Bravehearts" - to connect and hear a timely, no nonsense message from a local speaker that only men can understand in the unique way that we learn and connect. Click here to see the details of our next "Bravehearts" event!

SMALL GROUPS

After each monthly Bravehearts event, men are encouraged to connect in a 4-6 week men's small group to unpack the material presented that evening and dig deeper in a separate topical Men's Study Small Group...either way, you will be studying Biblical principles that will help you understand how to better implement the Bible's teachings in your day-to-day lives.  You can search our current Study Small Groups by clicking here.

THE QUEST FOR AUTHENTIC MANHOOD

This is THE foundational level or ground floor of manhood.  This 20 session study (taught live by Harpeth men) is designed to help men embrace a bolder and more noble concept of manhood and consider the forces that are shaping - or misshaping his personal manhood.  It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity.  Men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?" In years past, many Harpeth men who committed to the 20 weeks and graduated had life changing results in their walk with Christ, in their marriage, in raising children, in their jobs, in their friendships and simply in their everyday lives.  We meet on Thursday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm...this is also something you can jump into at anytime during the 20 weeks!  To view the full schedule, topics, speakers and to learn more about this amazing study...click here!
