About this Series
The Gospel of John is a portrait of Jesus Christ and his saving work. It focuses on the last three years of Jesus' life - and especially on his death and resurrection. Its purpose is clear in John 20:30-31: "Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." The book is written to help people place their trust and confidence in Jesus and, as a result, experience eternal life.
