Children's Ministry

Birth through 5th grade
1 Timothy 4:12 tells us "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." As the chosen verse of the Harpeth Heroes Children's Ministry we strive to live out that example with our kids.
Our Goal simply stated...
- Partnering with parents
- Training Christ-followers
- Inspiring Godly Heroes
GOSPEL LIGHTS
Gospel Light's "Baby Beginnings" allows our Leaders to nurture and teach even our youngest children about Jesus' love for them. We are committed to providing a safe, loving, caring environment for all our little ones. The journey of learning starts right away, as we work with a child's developmental processes to introduce the basics about God, the Bible, and Jesus' love.
ELEVATE
We are currently previewing a new curriculum called “Elevate” which you can learn more about on their website by clicking here! We lead the children in exciting yet age-appropriate ways so they can learn about God and His plan for their lives. Every one of us is here to make a difference in this world and we encourage all the children – no matter what their age – to stand firm in the Truth and be Christ-like heroes to people around them. In September, we’ll begin providing spiritual helps/tools for you to use throughout the week with your child - questions that can deepen their faith, and yours!

Announcements
It is absolutely amazing to see God's work in our Children's Ministry! New families are coming every week and our classrooms are filling up, which means we need to accommodate this growth. The Children's Ministry is aligned to the vision of HCC as delivered by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20. The vision of HCC is to make biblical disciples in relational environments. To create a more relational environment in our Children's Ministry, we are "tweaking" the room assignments. Separating children by age (even more than they already are) allows us to focus more on each child's spiritual growth and build deeper relationships with them in age-appropriate ways.
