The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in training their children to believe and follow Christ while inspiring them to be Godly heroes in their everyday world. We believe that children are a joyous gift and that parents & church families have a God-given responsibility to raise them in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord". HCC's Harpeth Heroes Children's Ministry promises to partner with parents as they rise to this challenge and will intentionally model what it means to "set an example" as noted in our ministry verse - 1 Timothy 4:12.
Children’s Ministry is also the coolest place to serve, just ask our LIT’s (Leader’s In Training). If you'd like to minister to young hearts & minds by leading or assisting in the classroom, please contact our Children's Minister. You will receive abundant blessings when you serve in this ministry!

INCLEMENT WEATHER
With the weather getting colder and snow concerns often surfacing, we want to remind the church family that our default mode when the weather is bad is to meet and not cancel church. We trust HCC family members to decide for themselves if the roads are too dangerous. We also believe that important spiritual connections, prayer times, and decisions are made in our assemblies and they should not easily be cancelled, so if you have questions about whether we will be meeting or not, check the website. Of course with our youth program, we continue to follow the policy that if school is cancelled for weather, so is youth group. But for our regular meetings, unless an assembly is explicitly cancelled on our website, we will be gathering together at church.
