PRAYER WARRIOR MEETING
“We have different gifts according to the grace given us,” Romans 1:6
My name is Lois Meredith and I have a passion for prayer! If one of your gifts is praying for others, please join me on Sunday, at 9:00 AM in Bobby’s office located on the right hand side of the Children’s Center through the main entrance. We will pray continually during that service for our church: the leadership, the members, the children, the marriages, the hurting, the unemployed, the lost, etc. We’ll also praise God for prayers answered! If you are willing to commit to praying with a team of prayer warriors one Sunday a month, two Sundays a month, or every Sunday, please let me know and I’ll include you in the communication for this new Sunday morning ministry.

OPEN PRAYER TIME - every Wednesday at 12 noon in the church office
You are all invited to join us for an open prayer time at the church office every Wednesday beginning at 12 noon. This will be a very relaxed, come-n-go time of prayer for our church family to bring praises, needs, concerns, etc. to the throne of God. If your schedule allows, please feel free to join us. We are eagerly anticipating a powerful time together!

INCLEMENT WEATHER
We follow Williamson County School closing for our guide in cancelling campus events (this includes classes, youth groups and study small groups). If Williamson County schools are closed, we cancel HCC events for the entire day and evening.
For our regular Friday night or Sunday morning assemblies, unless they are explicitly cancelled on our website, we will be gathering together at church. We believe that important spiritual connections, prayer times, and decisions are made in our assemblies and they should not easily be cancelled. Thus, our default mode when the weather is bad is to meet and not cancel church. In the event of extreme circumstances and Friday night or Sunday morning assemblies need to be cancelled, the announcement will be on the front page of the HCC website which can be found at www.harpethcc.com.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
This new web page lists all of the current volunteers needs within our church family. View all of the opportunities and see how you and your family can serve HCC!
101 SEMINAR
This seminar series is a great overview of the core teachings of Biblical Christianity, providing an opportunity for people less familiar with the Christian faith to hear and discuss teachings of the Bible. It is also an overview of the beliefs, mission, vision, values and structure of Harpeth Community Church. We want everyone to know what Harpeth Community Church is about and where we are going before a person decides to make the journey with us as a member.
BABY DEDICATIONS AT HCC
We believe that children are a joyous gift! We also believe that parents and church families have a God-given responsibility to raise up children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord." Therefore, we consider it an honor and privilege to hold baby dedication ceremonies for HCC members' children periodically throughout the year. The ceremony is a time for us to pray blessings over a child's life, affirm and challenge parents, and celebrate the gift of new life God has brought to our congregation. 2010 dates are May 16th, August 15th, and November 14th. Contact Linda Shake @ 790-0104 x15 to schedule your dedication.
